Le Luxembourg a transposé la CSRD dans le droit national via les modifications de la loi du 19 décembre 2002 sur le registre de commerce et des sociétés et sur la comptabilité. La CSSF (Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier) supervise l'application pour les entités d'intérêt public et les institutions financières, tandis que l'IRE (Institut des Réviseurs d'Entreprises au Luxembourg) assure la surveillance professionnelle. L'évaluation de double matérialité selon ESRS 1.20-33 s'applique directement via les actes délégués ESRS, qui ont effet direct dans tous les États membres de l'UE.
