يتطلب معيار المراجعة 450.5 تجميع كل التحريفات المكتشفة أثناء المراجعة، باستثناء تلك التافهة بشكل واضح. يبدو الأمر مباشراً حتى تجد نفسك في منتصف مراجعة مجموعة تحتوي على أربعة مكونات، وقيدين تعديليين من الإدارة، وخطأ تصنيف في قائمة التدفقات النقدية، ونقل من السنة السابقة لم يصححه أحد. في تلك المرحلة، تصبح المحافظة على جدول دقيق للتحريفات الفرق بين ملف مراجعة نظيف ومحادثة محرجة مع مراجع جودة الارتباط.
